Information about rum with pineapple juice

This drink is a simplified version of the rum-punch. It also can be made with pineapple syrup instead of juice. You can find a cake recipe with both ingredients together: rum and pineapple.

Another version can be made: leave the mixture for three months and then add sugar. Again, leave the drink for two weeks and then it is ready.

The Malibu label sells a liqueur with the taste of rum and pineapple juice.

If you are not used to drinking a lot of alcohol, start with a little bit of rum because this mixture is known to get you "drunk" quickly.

More about rum:
It comes from sugar cane. When it is left for a long time, the rum takes an amber color.

More about pineapple juice:
Third juice sold in the world just after orange juice and tomato juice.

Last but not least

During a party, a friend fascinated by sciences tries an experiment to show the danger of rum mixed with pineapple juice.

- Look, I put a little bit of rum in that glass, then pineapple and I leave a fly inside the glass. I cover the glass with one of my hands.

A few minutes later, the fly is dead.
- What is the conclusion?

Someone shouts:
- It shows that when you drink at a party, no fly will bother you for long.
